MEETINGS
Parent education is an essential part of the curriculum at Hancock Street Preschool. We teach parents their role in the classroom, and encourage their role as parents. As such, parents are requested to attend all meetings and special school events.

readingPARENT-HELPING
All parents are required to parent-help in their child's class. The Red class requires one morning approximately every two and one-half weeks and the Blue class requires one morning every three weeks. On those days, you will be assigned to provide the snack or juice.

FIELD TRIPS
treeWe take a variety of field trips that enhance the children's experience in the classroom, and expand their understanding of the world. Past trips have included a visit to a farm, to a post office, and to a state park. Parents are always invited to attend these field trips, and are also encouraged, but not required, to provide transportation. If you will be driving, you must maintain a minimum amount of automobile insurance.
